Karen O has treated us to a stunning cover of Smashing Pumpkins‘ ‘Bullet With Butterfly Wings’ as part of the soundtrack for the upcoming TV series Hanna.
This isn’t the first track Karen O has given us for the series. She released an original track titled ‘Anti-Lullaby’ midway through January, so she’s keeping busy.
Smashing Pumpkins have also given the cover of their approval, tweeting out a link to the cover on Spotify.

Karen O’s band Yeah Yeah Yeahs have been on hiatus since late 2014, and their last album was 2013’s Mosquito.
As for Smashing Pumpkins, Aussie fans will have to wait a while before we see them live once again. He took to Instagram to answer fan questions, and one person asked, “Lots of Australians eager for ‘Shiny [And Oh So Bright]’ tour. You seeing that too?”
Corgan simply replied “Aussie fans not same as Aussie promoters.”
