Sydney’s Ruby Fields will be your triple j Breakfast guest host all of next week.
Ben & Liam will be taking a well-deserved break from waking up with you every weekday morning, and they’ll be heading off on a holiday. So naturally, to decide who would fill the hot seat while they’re gone, they put it to the people.

It was good ol’ Tim from Geelong who threw Ruby’s name into the mix, and once the textline has spoken, they have indeed spoken.
Fields took to Instagram last night to confirm the news saying “A few people told Ben & Liam they’d like me to take over on triple j for a week while the boys visit Perth’s capital city, Bali.”
Ben Harvey lent his two cents in the comments, saying “You can’t do any worse than we already have. Just bring her back in one piece.”
After seeing her hilarity in action for this cheeky clip at this year’s Laneway Festival for triple j, there’s no doubt next week’s going to be a ripper.
