The NRL Grand Final Act This Year Is OneRepublic

Each year the NRL offer up their Grand Final entertainment and every year it’s a little bit surprising. This year they’re serving up OneRepublic for the pre-game treat.
The NRL shared the news this morning, saying that OneRepublic are just about to end their hiatus with a tour.
OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder says, “We’re just honoured to be invited to the party and be a part of it, we love sport events.”

“I didn’t get into writing songs necessarily for sports but for whatever reason the US and everywhere else, our songs end up in so many sporting events and sports television. It’s always kind of blown my mind and confused me in a really good way!”
The NRL Grand Final will take place on Sunday, 6th October at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium.
OneRepublic will join Meatloaf, Macklemore, Jessica Mauboy, Tina Turner, and Good Charlotte as NRL Grand Final entertainment alumni.
