Watch Lana Del Rey Cover Ariana Grande’s ‘Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored’

Lana Del Rey is busy promoting her new album Norman Fucking Rockwell! and she’s stopped by BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge to perform a super smooth – if poorly mixed – cover of Ariana Grande’s ‘break up with your girlfriend, i’m bored.’
Del Rey has been dipping her toes in plenty of covers lately, featuring a cover of Sublime’s ‘Doin’ Time’ on the aforementioned album. She also performed ‘Doin’ Time’ on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge.
The Ariana cover is no coincidence, as Del Rey worked with the pop superstar as well as fellow pop superstar Miley Cyrus on a song for the upcoming Charlie’s Angels reboot. That song, which is titled ‘Don’t Call Me Angel’, will be out this Friday, 13th September.

Norman Fucking Rockwell! is already making history with its critical acclaim, with Pitchfork giving it its highest rating of any album in the past five years. It is also the highest Pitchfork-rated album by a solo woman this decade.
