Sampa The Great Announces Premiere Of Short Film ‘The Return’

ARIA-winning artist Sampa The Great has revealed that she’ll premiere her short film titled The Return this week.
The Return will go live on YouTube on Wednesday, April 22, and following its debut, Sampa will sit down for a Q&A session to answer fan questions.
The doco covers the process in the lead up to the release of her 2019 debut album of the same name, for which she won the 2019 ARIA for Best Hip Hop Release.
“Since we’re homebound I’ve been thinking of my home a lot,” she said. “Last year home wasn’t a constant for me with the making of the album and everything to do with it.
“Luckily we managed to capture the journey and made into a short film!”
The Return will also go deep into Sampa The Great’s family and her home, and the people who helped her put the critically acclaimed record together.
“We’ve decided to release it and show you the process behind the album, as well as the people in it and my home.”
“A real gem that is super special, hope it moves you as much as it did me and my fam.”
