Look, we can all agree that times right now are a little dire to say the very least. The coronavirus pandemic has left the music industry at a virtual stand still with gigs being cancelled and albums being delayed left, right and centre.
But one person who seems to be thriving in all this is Doja Cat. Despite enjoying the biggest success of her career with her latest single ‘Say So’, she’s now taking a shot at being a thespian.
Taking to Instagram live, Doja Cat – real name Amalaratna Dlamini – donned a chainmail helmet and read out the lyrics of Roddy Ricch‘s viral hit ‘The Box’ as if she was in a Shakespearean play.
That’s all. It’s perfection.

Both ‘Say So’ and ‘The Box’ are doing amazing on the charts right now, thanks to both tracks going viral on TikTok. ‘Say So’ currently sits at #5 on the ARIA Singles Chart, after peaking at #4, and ‘The Box’ is at #11 after also peaking at #4.
