Bernard Fanning Joined Violent Soho On Stage To Perform A Powderfinger Classic

Written by on 1 Οκτωβρίου 2018

In a moment that’ll send any Brisbanite absolutely wild, Violent Soho were joined on stage earlier this weekend by none other than Powderfinger frontman Bernard Fanning to cover one of the band’s most seminal hits.
As Wall of Sound reports, Violent Soho took to the stage of the Brisbane Festival and began to pay tribute to Brisbane legends Powderfinger by playing the opening few seconds of ‘These Days.’
Then, the song slows down as Bernard Fanning himself walks out on to the stage, acoustic guitar in hand, and the two absolute Brisbane forces finish the song in an on-stage collab for the bloody ages.
Violent Soho have whipped out a few surprises for their Brisbane fans recently, with them being the surprise support act for DZ Deathrays’ Brissy show.
It’s a good time to be a rock fan in Brisbane, that’s for sure.
