Carly Rae Jepsen Soundtracks Your Breakup In Cheeky New Tune ‘Let’s Be Friends (Not Really Though)’

Can Carly Rae Jepsen do no wrong? Apparently. She’s given us another absolute tune just in time for your Valentine’s Day. ‘Let’s Be Friends’ is a fun AF break up anthem.
“Let’s be friends/Then, never speak again,” Carly Rae Jepsen sings in the song’s truth-bomb dropping chorus. “It’s cool, we can just pretend/We’re friends,” she continues.
“’Let’s Be Friends’ is about the little lie we all share to soften the blow of a breakup,” explains Jepsen.  “This Valentine’s Day I’d prefer to just rip off the band aid. See you never!”
