Childish Gambino Postpones Tour Dates, Following Foot Injury
Written by A on 26 Σεπτεμβρίου 2018
Childish Gambino (Donald Glover) is due to tour Australia in just over a month, but has had to postpone a number of US tour dates due to a reported broken foot.
Yesterday, it was reported that Glover injured himself on stage in the US, only to stumble off and finishing the show half an hour early. However, other reports said he rocked up to a previous gig in a wheelchair and leg brace, which would mean he sustained the injury earlier.
For what it’s worth, yesterday was also Glover’s birthday.
Now, it appears the entire American leg of the tour has been postponed.
Fam Rothstein, who runs the creative agency Wolf + Rothstein (alongside Glover and Wolf Taylor), took to Twitter to announce that the remaining US dates have been postponed, and will be rescheduled for later in the year.
This is America tour is postponed, not cancelled. My guy played through the pain, but has to sit some dates out. Back before the years over.

Of course, Glover is scheduled to tour Australia with his Gambino project in November, for a headlining slot at Canberra’s Spilt Milk festival as well as a string of sideshows — supposedly his last-ever Aussie tour as Gambino. He’s also bringing his Pharos festival to New Zealand.
There’s been no word yet on whether Glover’s Australian tour will be affected by his American postponements, but Music Feeds has reached out to both Live Nation and Spilt Milk for comment.
