Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes Announce Australian Tour

Written by on 30 Ιουλίου 2019

UK punks Frank Carter & the Rattlesnakes have announced they’ll be returning to Australian shores next year.
The band, headed by the former Gallows frontman, will play a run of Aussie dates in January 2020 in support of their recently released third studio album End of Suffering, which came out back in May of this year.
In our interview with Carter earlier this year, he told us that lyrically, the record saw him at his most vulnerable. “We wanna write brutally raw, honest music because I think a lot of the time, people don’t write like that. They’re always shrouding everything in mystery and painting a lot of happy pictures when they’re not,” he said.

“With this record I needed to be more honest than I ever had been, because I had to do that for myself. Musically, the writing process is the same as it’s always been.”
Guitarist Dean Richardson added that musically, the process remained the same – “It’s just me and Frank with a cup of tea and a guitar. The only thing that’s changed is that we have a better understanding every time we make another record of each other and our abilities. It’s felt easier so far for us to piece together songwriting-wise. It’s felt really natural this time around.”
Carter and the Rattlesnakes are known for their high-energy live performances, and it’s far from the group’s first Australian jaunt. The band were last in Australia back in April supporting Bring Me the Horizon. Altogether, it’s their fourth trip down under in just over two years, and this time around sees them performing at their largest headline venues in the country yet.
