Jared Leto Cast As Legendary Artist Andy Warhol in Upcoming Movie

Jared Leto has revealed his next big acting gig.
The Thirty Seconds To Mars frontman will be sinking his teeth into the role of legendary American pop artist, film director and producer, Andy Warhol.

Announcing the news via Instagram in honour of what would have been Warhol’s 92nd birthday, Leto wrote: “Yes it’s true I will be playing Andy Warhol in an upcoming film. And so grateful and excited about the opportunity. Happy belated birthday Andy. We miss you and your genius.”
Leto didn’t dish any more details on the movie project, but, as Consequence Of Sound points out, back in 2016 his name was attached to a Warhol biopic being written by Terence Winter (whose CV includes The Wolf of Wall Street and Boardwalk Empire).
It’s still unclear whether this is the same film or something entirely different, but either way, you can check out Leto’s post below.
