Kacey Musgraves Caves, Does A Shoey Out Of A Glass Slipper In Melbourne

In case you missed it, earlier this week we reported that Kacey Musgraves said a big no thanks to doing a shoey at her show at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Sunday night.
Well, for whatever reason, that refusal made international headlines and did the rounds on Twitter, so now Musgraves has caved and performed a shoey at her Melbourne gig last night in the only way she knows how.
Apparently unprompted, Musgraves pulled a glass slipper out of nowhere, poured her tequila into it, took one graceful swig and then bowed. Shoey, but make it classy.

She retweeted a video taken by Sarah Dileo, and said “take that, ya savages” with an Aussie flag emoji.
