King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard Tease New Music With The Drones’ Gareth Liddiard
Written by A on 22 Ιανουαρίου 2019
Aussie rockers King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard appear to have teased new music with The Drones and Tropical Fuck Storm frontman Gareth Liddiard.
The band yesterday shared a photo of themselves in the studio with Liddiard, along with the caption, “NeW. MuSiC. CoMiNg. SoOn.”
Meanwhile, photographer Jamie Wdziekonski shared an image of Liddiard and King Gizzard frontman Stu Mackenzie sitting in what appears to be Liddiard’s Victorian studio at Nagambie Speedway.

It’s unclear if Liddiard is producing new music for the band — King Gizzard tend to produce their own albums, anyway — but there’s clearly a chance Liddiard will appear on the band’s next release, either as a guest or producer.
Tropical Fuck Storm supported King Gizzard during their recent headline shows in Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide, and also performed as part of the band’s 2018 Gizzfest event.
King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard released a whopping five studio albums in 2017, including their latest record, Gumboot Soup, on 31st December that year.
