After debuting new single ‘Watermelon Sugar’ on Saturday Night Live over the weekend, Harry Styles has now shared the studio version of his latest cut.
An extremely summer-tinged bop, ‘Watermelon Sugar’ is the second track to be released from the former One Direction member’s upcoming album Fine Line, after releasing ‘Lights Up’ last month.
Styles was double-booked for his SNL slot – on both hosting and performance duties – where, in addition to playing both ‘Watermelon Sugar’ and ‘Lights Up’, he performed a piano-led monologue that saw him poking fun at a certain fellow One Direction alumni.
“I love those guys. They’re my brothers. Niall, Liam, Louis… And, uh, Ringo. Yeah that’s it.”
Bloody brutal.
