Looks Like Spice Girls Might Not Be Touring Australia After All

Zigazig-ahhhhh shit.
Despite Mel B saying they’ll be there next Feb, it looks like the Spice Girls might not be coming to Australia to spice up our lives after all.
The Daily Tele and other media outlets are citing ‘insider’ reports that negotiations with Geri fell apart because her Gingerness isn’t keen to make the trek down under, apparently because she “doesn’t need the cash”.

ICYMI: during the group’s final UK concert at Wembley Stadium, Scary told the crowd: “We love you all so much, and we’ll see you in Australia next February.”
But in a move that gave fans emotional whiplash, she reneged on the comments just a few days later.
“Well, you know what, you know me by now,” she told 2Day FM. “I always say The Spice Girls are going to continue and continue and tour the world.”

“My thing is — and I’ve got a bit of a bee in my bonnet about it — is that we need to come to Australia first… so I announced it on-stage, yes, without everyone else signing off 100 percent, but I figured if I put it out there, it might actually happen.”

There’s been no official confirmation yet either way though, so until there is, we’ll never give up on the good times.
