Mallrat Is Releasing A Simlish Version Of ‘Charlie’

Sometimes, the winner of the upcoming Hottest 100 can be obvious long before voting opens. And just when you thought that was the case in 2019, Mallrat dives in with a last minute contender in the form of a Simlish remix of her song ‘Charlie’.
Making the announcement on her Instagram, our new bilingual queen said The Sims contacted her and asked her to record her 2019 hit in Simlish, and she even released a snippet of it.
“Honest to God,” she wrote, “@thesims commissioned me to re record Charlie in Simlish.
“Arguably this is more culturally significant than a Grammy.” Inclined to agree.

The full song will be available on the soundtrack to The Sims 4: Discover University. The game is currently available on PC, and will be made available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on December 17.
