Metallica are publishing an illustrated children’s book

Metallica are gearing up for a new release, but it’s not what you might be thinking.
Rather than a new song, the band announced they’re publishing a children’s book called The ABC’s Of Metallica.
In the announcement on Facebook, the band wrote:

The book is set to be available in stores and online on November 26th, and will be a “rhyming, illustrated history of Metallica from A to Z.”

“Each letter of the alphabet highlights a moment along the band’s journey from ‘Garage Days’ to ‘Master of Puppets’ to fun facts about the guys,” adds a note on the Metallica website.
It is already available for pre-order on the official website, where bundles with adult- and child-sized shirts are also for sale.
All proceeds will go to the band’s All Within My Hands Foundation, which supports workforce education and the fight for food security.
Metallica touch down in Australia In October 2019 for their national tour.
