Northlane Team Up With Crowbar To Release Their Own Wine

Written by on 6 Μαΐου 2020

Sydney outfit Northlane have been serving up excellent, prog-tinged metalcore for around a decade at this point. Now, they’re trying their hand at the viticulture game, teaming up with inner west bar and venue Crowbar for a range of limited-edition wines.
The ‘Enemy of the Night’ collaboration is the result of guitarist Josh Smith “being an incessant wine fanatic”, and will offer both “a vibrant Shiraz and a balanced Pinot Grigio.”

This is a first for us! @northlanejosh, being an incessant wine fanatic has teamed Northlane up with our long time friends Crowbar to bring you the Enemy of the Night collection.A vibrant Shiraz and a balanced Pinot Grigio

“I’ve had a deep love affair with wines for as long as I can remember, and many guru friends have shown me the goods along the way,” commented Smith.
“One of them approached me about doing a collaboration for something else fresh we’ve been cooking up in the Northlane camp and it was an opportunity I couldn’t miss.”
You can order both wines here via the Crowbar Sydney website, with delivery starting from tomorrow, 7th May. The band are telling fans to hold on to bottles until May 19 to scan the QR code, suggesting the collaboration is part of something bigger down the track.
Northlane released fifth studio album Alien back in August of last year. Back in March, they released Negative Energy, a documentary about its creation. Watch the short film below.
