Sorry Splendour, ICYMI Chance The Rapper Has Pulled Out Of His Headlining Set Tonight

ICYMI, Chance The Rapper has pulled a last minute no-show to Splendour In The Grass 2019 due to illness.
Less than 24 hours out from his Sunday night headliner, Chance’s people shared a statement, reading: “It is with great regret we announce that Chance The Rapper will not be coming to Australia to perform at Splendour in the Grass.
“Unfortunately, due to illness, he is unable to fly.”

The heroes of the day are Hilltop Hoods, who’ve stepped up to fill Chance’s shoes at ridiculously short notice.
They’ll be filling in the 11pm slot on the Amphitheatre stage tonight.

Splendour organisers said they are “beyond stoked” that the Hoods were up for the trip north, adding: “We wish Chance a speedy recovery”.
