Tones And I‘s global domination continues, with her ubiquitous radio earworm ‘Dance Monkey’ now the #1 most streamed song across the entire goddamn globe.
The artist took to Instagram to break the massive news to her fans, sharing a snap of the mega-hit’s stream count, which at the time weighed in at a cool 6,024,000.
“I have the number one most streamed song on Spotify world wide at the moment and an Aussie artist has NEVER done that before!!!!!!!!” Tones wrote, followed by a string of about 50 love heart emojis. “THANK YOU.”
It comes after ‘Dance Monkey’ shattered the record for longest running #1 song by an Australian artist in ARIA history, as well as Tones And I being also been nominated for eight ARIA Awards.
