Watch Josh Homme Throw Shade At Melbourne During QOTSA’s Adelaide Show
Written by A on 10 Σεπτεμβρίου 2018
Here we bloody go: Josh Homme may have well as opened the gates of Hell with this comment that’s sure to get a lot of Melbournites in a twist.
At Queens of the Stone Age’s final Adelaide concert on Sunday night, Homme well and truly fired some shots at Melbourne while he was praising the city of Adelaide – to raucous cheering, obviously.
“When I come to Adelaide,” he says, “this is what (Australia) should fucking look like.”
“Melbourne’s a fucking mess. It looks like every other big city in the world.”
We’re not too sure that Homme knows the level of damn near war he may have started, but we’ll be sitting back with our popcorn watching.
In other news, Homme and the band played a special show in Hobart’s Museum of New and Old Art last week, with all proceeds from the show going to Royal Hobart Hospital’s Paediatrics Ward, and they managed to raise a wild $20,000.
Watch the video, and grab your torches and pitchforks if you’re from Melbourne, below.
