Watch St. Vincent Cover Tool In Pre-Show Warm Up

No secret to an absolute tune, St. Vincent has delivered us the goods in the form of a snippet of a cover. She’s shared a pre-show video of her playing an acoustic rendition of Tool’s ‘Forty Six & 2’ and it’s good.
Sharing it to Instagram earlier today, she said, “TOOL as preshow warm-up during MASSEDUCTION solo tour. Pink bunnysuit hanging in background. Will always love this band. Miss you guys.”

The acoustic cover itself is super cool — St. Vincent keeps up the same energy as the original, just sans full band. Here’s hoping we get a full version of the cover soon.
Recently, St. Vincent also shared a snippet an acoustic cover of ‘Stairway to Heaven’. “Though you might have missed the sound of someone fumbling through stairway to heaven,” she said sharing the clip.

Since guitar stores have been closed, I thought you might have missed the sound of someone fumbling through “stairway to heaven.” (Not pictured but honorable mention, “smoke on the water” “sweet home Alabama” “black dog” “where ever I may roam”). Love to all my guitar players out there. I know. I miss it too.
